UFC 112 Invincible: Results And Video

The Ulitmate Fighting Championship headed to the Middle East Saturday with UFC 112 Invincible playing to a big crowd on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

The top of the card saw fights between .J. Penn vs. Frankie Edgar (lightweight championship bout), and Anderson Silva vs. Demian Maia for the Middleweight championship. As always, if you don’t want to know the result, head straight to the video further down the page.

The Silva fight wasn’t great, with Silva dominating from the outset, then spending the second half of the fight playing with Maia and not really trying. That action resulted in warnings from the referee, and UFC president Dana White embarrassed and disgusted.

Edgar defeated Penn via unanimous decision, although the points don’t show that it was fairly competitive.
