‘South Park: The Stick Of Truth’ E3 2013 Trailer Drops [Video]

South Park: The Stick of Truth has just landed an E3 2013 trailer.

The game that your parents will probably hate is coming to consoles in a role-playing game that takes the boys from South Park and puts them in a fantasy-based civil war. The all-powerful Stick is a much sought-after item that has split South Park Elementary in two, pitting Cartman against Kyle and Stan as leaders of rival factions the Humans and the Elves, respectively.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, South Park: The Stick of Truth is known for the same outrageous and offensive humor that made the cut-out animation style cartoon so popular, using strap-ons to augment whatever weapon you choose to start the game with, and allowing the player to fart as long as they want as a form of magic.

With developer Ubisoft at the helm, we are practically guaranteed a blast. They are the same ones behind Assassin’s Creed and its sequels.

According to VG247, the new trailer for South Park: The Stick of Truth is “utterly awesome.”

The trailer begins with a side-scrolling view of the town covered in snow, with parts of it being on fire. We see a distant explosion before the broken-down sign for the town scrolls into view.

Cartman, one of the main kids from the show and a regular antagonist, says, “We have been betrayed. The peace we once knew shattered like glass. First came the goblins, then underpants gnomes, vampire kids, hippies, crab people. We need a savior, who can undo that which has been did.”

Kyle steps out by a campfire and says, “I’ll do it.”

Cartman, Kenny and Stan, all dressed up in cosplay clothes like Kyle, stare at him blankly before Cartman replies, “Jews can’t be saviors, remember? We need the new kid.”

Stan turns and angrily looks at Cartman, “What new kid?”

Cartman replies as the scene shows the backstory, “Last week a new kid moved into the house …”
