Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is flaunting her Gold Medal body in a checkered pink bikini while poolside as she wishes she were back wearing it. The 32-year-old former athlete was all legs and abs in a super-cute snap shared yesterday, posting for her 1.1 million Instagram followers and sending out happy vibes, plus one golden tan.

Nastia, who has been traveling and recently enjoyed a luxurious Mexico vacation over the New Year, also mentioned the weather in her current Dallas, TX location.

Scroll for the photo, one likely coming from the recent travels. Nastia, who rocked a fair few two-pieces as she soaked up the sun South of the border, had posed by a luxurious terrace pool and backed by desert greenery. The 2008 all-around champion went girly and cute, posing in a pink-and-white check bikini with a cupped finish, also highlighting her super-long legs.

Nastia held a china cup while smiling, also wearing shades and showcasing her recent return to dark hair.

Liukin took to her caption, writing:

"It's currently 72 degrees in Dallas and I’m wishing I was wearing this cute @mimithelabel_ bikini by my girl @katharineday 💗 Drop some other small Dallas-based businesses in the comments below so we can all go support!"

Nastia was born in Moscow, Russia, but moved to the U.S. as a child, living in both Louisiana and Texas. She's disabled like counts to her posts, but did gain a celebrity one from reality star Savannah Chrisley. Scroll for more photos.

Nastia was only 22 when she retired back in 2012, although her legacy lives on via the annual Nastia Cup. Speaking to The Cut about quitting the beam, Nastia got real, stating:

"I felt so lost for a good year. I gained probably 10 to 20 pounds, because when you stop doing something and just go cold turkey your body doesn’t even know what to do. I finally feel like I’ve found my rhythm again. It takes time to figure out what your body needs and what’s best for you both in nutrition and also fitness."

Pssst, Have A Cookie!

The five-time Olympic medalist, who also listed a protein-packed diet, did, however, take a moment to acknowledge her balanced mindset, referencing her gymnast mother as she added:

"I also remember my mom telling me, “If you want a cookie, have a cookie.” Because then you’re going to get to a point where just like you want ten cookies and you’re going to eat ten. So allow yourself to have that."

Nastia has faced backlash over her weight - in 2020, she shut down a hater making an anorexia comment.
