Tim Tebow is still unemployed but that could change thanks to a White House petition. A bunch of Tebow fans signed a petition this week making a plea to President Obama to step in and get the Mile High Messiah a job.
The petition asks Obama to call David Caldwell, the general manger of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and convince him to sign Tebow.
Tebow’s fan are also asking President Obama to make sure that Tebow isn’t merely on the roster. They want him to START.
The petition reads: “Jacksonville Jaguars fans want the team to sign recently released QB Tim Tebow. However, rookie general manager for the Jacksonville Jaguars David Caldwell is blocking this from happening. If the Jaguars sign & START Tebow, home games will be sold out, sales will spike, the team will win and the fans will be happy.”
The petition, which was filed under “job creation,” hasn’t seen too much support. Since it was filed on April 30, only 59 people have signed it. The petition will need another 99,000 signatures or so until it gets a response from the White House.
Do you think the President should step in and get Tebow a job? Tebow may be having a hard time finding a job in the NFL but he has received an offer from the Lingerie Football League.
