Lala Kent was reportedly “a huge support system” for Scheana Shay's now-fiance, Brock Davies, in the days leading up to their engagement.
Just under a week after Shay officially confirmed her engagement to Davies with a photo shared to her Instagram page, an insider claims her Vanderpump Rules cast member did what she could to help Davies prepare, despite her months-long feud with Shay.
“Lala loves Scheana and Brock together and she’s thrilled for them,” a source told Hollywood Life on July 28.
“Lala is so happy the [engagement] news is out there because now she can talk about it. She had known about Brock’s plans leading up to the proposal and was there throughout the planning process,” the source continued.
While Kent and Shay went into production on Vanderpump Rules season nine in May in a bad place with one another, they recently reconciled. And, as Davies prepared to ask Shay to marry him, she did whatever she could to be there to support him and assist him wherever needed.
Before Davies ultimately decided to ask Shay, who gave birth to their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, in April, to marry him at their Los Angeles home, Kent was by his side as he scouted other potential locations for the proposal.
"She shared advice and tagged along while he checked out venues before ultimately deciding to go with something more intimate and [propose] at home. Ultimately, it turned out perfect and she couldn’t be happier for them,” the insider revealed.
As Vanderpump Rules fans saw last week, Shay and Davies' engagement was confirmed with a photo of the two of them, and her engagement ring, last week.

We are engaged!!!” Shay announced in the caption of her engagement pic. “Thank you to [Brock Davies] for making me the happiest girl in the world and to [Kyle Chan] for making me the most gorgeous ring ever!! According to Hollywood Life, Kent and Shay's friendship has come full circle in recent months.
"It’s better now than ever,” the insider confirmed. “They’re both in such a different place at this point compared to where they were last year when they were arguing. They had a big fallout but ultimately the fact that they’re both moms now brought them back together and made them have a new perspective on life. The negativity isn’t something they want any part of at this point.”
