Coma Request Fulfilled: Bob Seger Invites Evie Branon Backstage

Bob Seger fulfilled a coma patient’s request last night when he invited 79-year-old Evie Branan backstage at his concert.

The Inquisitr reported last week that Branan’s first words after she woke up from five year coma were: I want to go to a Bob Seger Concert.” Well, the coma patient’s request has been fulfilled.

Branan’s went to a Bob Seger concert last night the Palace Auburn Hills with family and friends. That would have been enough to fulfill her request but Bob Seger ended up inviting Branan to come hang out backstage after the concert.

Branan posed for a few photos with the “Turn The Page” singer and got to meet his band.

Branan said: “I loved it. It was fantastic. This is the happiest I’ve been in a long time.”

According to MLive, Branan attended an after party with the band and quickly found herself to be the center of attention.

Seger’s sax player Alto Reed said: “She’s a sweetheart. She’s a celebrity now and it’s beautiful … Life is magic. Magic happens every day and she’s an example of that. Never give up.”
