Kate Moss Shares Kiss With Sharon Stone For Charity Auction
Kate Moss shared a kiss with Sharon Stone this weekend — for a good cause, of course.
The women were both participating in amfAR’s Inspiration Gala in Sao Paolo, Brazil, on Friday. Part of the event was an auction, and one of the items included was a bottle of Moët Chandon champagne signed by both Moss and Stone.
In an effort to kick up the bidding, Kate Moss said she would kiss whoever won the auction. To give the winner a preview of what they would be getting, Sharon Stone called Kate Moss up on stage and gave her a big kiss.
The girl-on-girl kiss wasn’t too new for Sharon Stone. In her breakout role in the 1992 thriller Basic Instinct she played bisexual novelist Catherine Tramell, who kisses another woman. Kate Moss has also done some kissing for photo shoots, including recent shots where she nearly kissed Rihanna.
The event in Brazil drew a number of big stars, including Fergie and Dita Von Teese, and the entire fundraiser brought in $2.3 million for AIDS research.
The Kate Moss kiss had a big effect, too. The bottle of champagne ended up selling for $50,000, and the man who won reportedly made out with the supermodel for a full two minutes.
“I put loads of red lipstick on and I never wear red lipstick, so he’s going to be stained,” Kate Moss said about the kiss.
Kate Moss has engaged in some other steamy endeavors to raise money. For a recent charity event, she sat down for a reading of the erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey. The event was part of Red Nose Day, which uses humor to raise money for various charities.
This actually isn’t the first time Kate Moss used a kiss to help a good cause, either. She also auctioned off a kiss for the Great Ormond Street charity auction event, fetching $7,500.
