Juice Wrld is dead after suffering a seizure at Chicago's Midway airport, according to TMZ. The rapper, who is best known for his songs "Lucid Dreams" and "Wasted," just turned 21 on December 2.

According to the TMZ report, Juice Wrld, whose real name is Jarad Anthony Higgins, had recently landed at the airport following a flight from California. He suffered a seizure while walking through the airport. When emergency personnel approached him, he was "bleeding from the mouth."

Although he was still conscious when transported to the hospital, he died a short time later. More details about his death and the cause of his seizure could become available later in the week.

While people can die after suffering a seizure, it's not all that common.

"Juice WRLD, according to a report by @TMZ, has passed away after suffering a seizure. He was 21. Heartbreaking. RIP, young man," DJ Booth tweeted a short time ago.

"Really shocked and sad to find out Juice Wrld passed away,... and so young too... a reminder that life can be over any moment... be kind to one another," Zedd tweeted.

In an interview with Complex, Juice Wrld said that he was surprised to get the attention of a record label so early on in his career.

"That was crazy. I don't know. To this day, it hasn't settled in yet. That's how I want it to be, though. I don't want to get lost in everything. I just want to keep the same work ethic. There's still things to be done and points to be proven. Money to be made, you know? I want to keep that same mentality because when artists stop and think about everything and realize, like, 'I just got a multi-million dollar contract,' I think that's when I think they get, quote-unquote, lost in the sauce," he told the outlet.

Juice Wrld always wanted to make people happy with his music. In fact, he told Complex that was the goal of his album.

"I want people to be happy. I like making people happy with my music. I like giving people a good time with my music," he said.

He released his first album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, in 2018. He released his second studio album, Death Race for Love, back in March.

Juice Wrld's Twitter account has 1 million followers, and he has nearly 8 million followers on Instagram. At this year's Billboard Music Awards, Juice Wrld took home the award for Top New Artist.
