Google Nexus One Delayed In China As Censorship Fight Continues

We knew it was only a matter of time before Google’s refusal to censor search results in China would spill over into other aspects of the companies business, now the Cupertino, California company have announced the delay of the Google Nexus One.

The phone, which was set to release on Wednesday, joins the Motorola and Samsung Android based phones we announced earlier today.

Google is currently in talks with the Chinese government to reach an agreement regarding their search results, until that agreement is reached it’s safe to assume that Google products will continue to be censored throughout the country.

Given the enormous market China provides, I’m assuming an agreement will be reached by the end of the week. Especially when realizing that Google’s actions are now hurting business deals for their manufacturing partners.
