Michael Jackson ‘This Is It’ PlayStation 3 bundle on the way
Considering how quickly some companies decided to start milking Michael Jackson’s death, I’m surprised this is only happening now: a Jackson-themed console bundle. Sony’s Japanese arm is planning to release a PS3 bundle in Japan on January 27, for a mere ¥33,500 (US$365).
For his/her money, the buyer will get a 120GB “Charcoal Black” PS3, a wireless controller, a power cord, one AV cable, one USB cable, and a tastefully designed matchbox of Mike’s ashes.
Only kidding, it’ll be a Blu-ray copy of documentary/Jacko concert film This Is It. Apparently, this version of the film includes vignettes of “Thriller” and “Smooth Criminal”, and some lovely PS3 wallpaper.
No news yet of a western release for this, by the way, but I’d wager it’s only a matter of time.
