Lily Allen Makes Live Comeback In Paris

Lily Allen made her live comeback earlier this week, when she performed in Paris, making her first appearance for four years.

The singer, who is now known by her married name of Lily Cooper, performed her hit single, “Smile,” during Paris Fashion Week at the Etam show.

Lily was so excited about performing, that prior to the event she decided to inform her fans via Twitter, “Just did rehearsal for tomorrow’s ETAM Show with @iamMarkRonson, still know the words to Smile, which is good. #mumback.”

Lily’s comeback has also seen her return to the recording studio, where she worked with the music producer, Greg Kurstin. She told NME that she wanted to perfect her songs, and make sure that they are “amazing,” before announcing it to the public.

Allen stated, “I’m not going to put anything out until I’ve got an end product which I think’s amazing, or you know, good.” She is hoping that her new songs will be heard by next year.

Lily’s last song to be released was a collaboration with Pink, which featured on the singer’s last album, “The Truth About Love.” This came after she supposedly retired in 2009 as she wanted to concentrate on her new family, as well as her record label, and her fashion shop.

Earlier this year, Lily gave birth to her second child on January 8, which she named Marnie. Her first daughter, Ethel, was born in 2011. Are you excited to see Lily Allen return to the stage? Do you think she’s a good role model?
