Will Smith’s Son Works The Turnables At Hollywood Party

Will Smith’s son Trey flexed his considerable turntable skills at a recent Hollywood party.

Trey, also known as DJ AcE, put his skills to the test on Tuesday night. According to the New York Daily News, Will Smith’s son worked the turntables during DJ Night at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The event, which took place inside hotel’s club, was sponsored by Vanity Fair and L’Oreal Paris.

Pictures posted on the website show Will Smith listening to his son’s skills through a set of headphones. Judging from his expression, dad seems to approve of his son’s work.

The Daily Mail reports that DJ AcE is quickly making a name for himself in the industry. In addition to producing a handful of dance tracks, Trey has released a video for the tune “Find You Somewhere” which features his half-siblings. Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett-Smith directed the clip.

Trey, whose real name is Willard Christopher Smith III, is apparently a man of many talents. In addition to his gift for music, he was the wide receiver for Oaks Christian High School. Many thought Will Smith’s son might head into sports following graduation. However, he decided to embrace his love of music instead.

According to Yahoo! News, Trey stole the show at Vanity Fair’s DJ Night on Tuesday. The website explains that the event was part of a week-long celebration in anticipation of the upcoming Academy Awards ceremony this weekend.

In addition to approval from his movie star father, Will Smith’s son impressed a few celebrities in attendance Tuesday evening. Kick-Ass 2 co-star Chloe Grace Moretz and Jayden Smith were spotted on the dance floor at one point during Trey’s performance.
