Donald Trump Re-Election Banner Hung By Guests In Magic Kingdom At Walt Disney World

Many people go to Walt Disney World to get away from the horrors, troubles, and problems brought about by everyday life. A lot of guests at the Disney Parks think that they can get away from the daily news and everything that is wrong with the world, but that wasn’t the case this weekend. Somehow, some guests brought a huge “Re-Elect Donald Trump” banner into Magic Kingdom and hung it right on Main Street U.S.A. for all to see.

There have been all kinds of controversy and other issues that people have had with Donald Trump in the office of the president of the United States of America. With the Hall of Presidents attraction at Magic Kingdom, it brought issues into the world of Disney as well, as Trump is now in there.

Over the last year or so, there has been an increased security presence in the attraction and even some changes to the venue. Still, things have been kept relatively calm despite the differences that guests have over supporting or being against Donald Trump.

On Sunday, September 23, 2018, there were some Trump supporters who took it upon themselves to let the (Walt Disney) world know how they feel. That’s why they brought the giant banner into Magic Kingdom and hung it up on the train station on Main Street U.S.A.

As you can see in the image, the banner is quite large and was reportedly hung up around 4 p.m. EST on Sunday afternoon. The picture started making the social media rounds, but there is not a lot of information as to how it actually came to happen.

Walt Disney World does have big-time security at each of its theme parks in Orlando, and they do thorough bag checks while having guests go through metal detectors. All bags are checked with all pockets opened and searched through, and that has many wondering how the giant banner made it inside.

Even the Twitter account of Attractions Magazine wondered “how long this was up” in regard to the banner. Some Twitter users believe a lifetime ban from Magic Kingdom or all Disney Parks is in order for whoever may have done it.

This is the second time that Disney has apparently been the target of Trump supporters wanting to spread the word of his re-election campaign. Earlier in September, a Trump supporter opened a huge banner during the curtain call of Frozen on Broadway, but actor Timothy R. Hughes wasn’t having it.

As reported by Huffington Post, Hughes later defended his actions and said he would not apologize to the “disrespectful man trying to interrupt this moment with a political platform.” Hughes said it wasn’t going to ever happen at “our show.”

There are those who support Donald Trump and those who are opposed to the current president of the United States, but not all locations are the place for those discussions. On Sunday, a few guests decided to make Magic Kingdom the centerpiece for a banner promoting Trump’s re-election. While their actions made waves on social media, it may have done nothing more than earn them a ban from Walt Disney World for good.
