New ‘Fast And The Furious 6’ Image Surfaces Online [Photo]

It’s definitely a good week to be a Vin Diesel fan. Yet another image from the upcoming action flick The Fast and the Furious 6 has recently surfaced online.

Not only did Diesel release a photo from the sequel last week, the action hero also dropped an image from his forthcoming science fiction flick Riddick. In order to keep the Diesel-powered promotional machine rolling, Universal has unveiled a brand new picture you see below.

Unfortunately, the photo in question doesn’t feature anything overwhelmingly exciting. However, it does give fans of the Fast and the Furious series an opportunity to see stars Paul Walker and Vin Diesel standing side by side. Other than that, the image doesn’t give away too much.

According to The Daily Blam, director Justin Lin and writer Chris Morgan’s Fast and the Furious 6 will be the first film in the series to completely ditch the underground racing scene the series was founded on.

Outside of a few plot details strategically dropped here and there since its inception, very little is known about the upcoming sequel. It’s also currently unclear if the film will go by Fast and the Furious 6 or something a bit more stylish when it arrives in theaters.

The last image released for the film contained a spoiler for those who’ve yet to catch up on the story. If you’re curious to see the unexpected reunion between two prominent characters, check out The Inquisitr‘s previous report on the subject. Keep in mind that the link does contain spoilers. You have been warned.

The first trailer for the action flick is slated to arrive at some point during the Super Bowl. The newest image can be found below.

The Fast and the Furious 6 also stars Dwayne Johnson, Gina Carano, Luke Evans, Joe Taslim, Gal Gadot, Tyrese, Jordana Brewster, and Ludacris. The film will arrive in cinemas in the US and the UK on May 24.
