Verne became famous for his 1999 role of Mini-Me in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. He appeared in several other films since that time, including a reprised role of Mini-Me in Goldmember in 2002. His acting career slowed down in recent years; however, he competed on Celebrity Big Brother in 2009.
