Steven Tyler Breaks Up With Fiancee Erin Brady ‘For Good’
Steven Tyler and fiancee Erin Brady have broken up — and this time, the Aerosmith rocker says it’s for good.
Rumors of a split started over the New Year’s holiday, when Tyler was spotted vacationing in Hawaii solo. There he was seen with his children and fellow classic rocker Alice Cooper at a charity event in Maui, but Erin never showed up, The Huffington Post reported. It was especially telling that Brady didn’t tag along, as Maui was the place where he popped the question during a vacation a little more than a year ago
Steven Tyler and Erin Brady had gotten engaged last year, but apparently the couple was never really on good terms.
“Steven was just not that nice to her in the end,” a source told the New York Post. “His family and entourage never really accepted her and she can do better.” The source continues, “They’re still friendly but they’re going their own ways. The engagement is off.”
Apparently the dislike went both ways in the relationship. Brady was also mean to Steven Tyler and his family, a source told TMZ back in 2011.
But even as the couple had problems, Steven Tyler spoke glowingly of Erin Brady.
“I don’t want to hurt anybody again,” he said in 2011during a sit-down with Oprah Winfrey. “For all the divorces I’ve had, I’ve hurt those girls deeply. There was some behavior that I’m ashamed of and I shouldn’t have done.”
With the break-up, Steven Tyler avoids what would have been his third marriage. He was previously wed to Cyrinda Foxe from 1978 to 1987, and Teresa Barrick from 1998 to 2006.
