Actor Bradley Cooper, People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2011 , is reportedly back on the market.
According to The New York Post , Cooper and his girlfriend, Avatar actress Zoe Saldana, have broken up – for the second time.
The star couple originally dated for three months after filming The Words together and split in March last year , but they reconciled in September.
Per the report, Cooper, 37, and Saldana, 34, decided to part ways once again even though they had been planning to spend the Christmas holiday season together.
“Zoe had planned to spend the holidays with Bradley and his family in Europe,” the insider revealed to The Post’s Page Six . “They all were going to Paris, but things didn’t work out between them.”
Though no immediate reason for Zoe and Bradley’s break-up was given, sources say the relationship ended while Cooper was promoting Silver Linings Playbook with Jennifer Lawrence.
US Weekly notes the failed relationship may have been more of a rebound for Saldana, who broke up with her fiance, Keith Britton, in November 2011.
After her alleged split with Cooper, Zoe was spotted ringing in the New Year in South Beach where she enjoyed a dinner with pals.
She was beside the swimming pool at the James Royal Palm hotel when it turned midnight and was seen laughing and dancing with a group that included supermodel Karolina Kurkova and the Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade along with their partners Adrienne Bosh and Gabrielle Union.
“If Zoe was upset over the split with Bradley, she didn’t show it. She looked happy and was dancing quite a bit. She was smiling all the time,” a source told People .
Prior to Saldana, Bradley Cooper dated Renee Zellweger for two years before splitting in March 2011.
