Lindsay Lohan Not Doing ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ After All
We take back everything we said earlier today about Lindsay Lohan doing Celebrity Big Brother to help ease her tax burdens. Though her quiet London New Year’s Eve plans are still on, they don’t include a role on the reality show at all.
TMZ reports that Lindsay Lohan, who arrived in London yesterday, isn’t interested in Celebrity Big Brother, and that her arrival in the UK is just a timely coincidence. The rumor mill suggested that the financially strapped actress was considering taking part in this season of the popular reality show, which includes other wayward celebrities like Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
A source says that the rumor is “completely untrue” and total “nonsense.” Additionally, with a looming court date next month, it’s unlikely that Lohan would be able to participate in the reality series.
Speculation about Lohan’s next career moves has been kicked into overdrive as 2012 closes out. Tabloid The National Enquirer reported earlier that Lohan has accepted a $2.5 million offer to star in a pornographic film, a la Octomom. GossipCop, a site that’s normally pretty good about clearing up nonsensical celebrity rumors, determined that the story was completely false.
Lohan has had other adult entertainment-oriented offers in the past. The actress was offered $750,000 to pose for Playboy, which she took advantage of. Additionally, Fleshlight reportedly offered her $1 million to permanently cast her lady-parts for the popular masturbation aid.
Whatever her future career plans are, Lohan is going to try yet again to put her troubled past behind her. She is reportedly ringing in 2013 quietly and without the aid of alcohol.
