Stephen King And Others React To Texas Church Shooting
As of now, up to 27 people are feared to be dead after a gunman, who is identified as Devin Patrick Kelly, opened fire at a First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, located 30 miles southeast of San Antonio. As earlier reported by Inquisitr, Devin P. Kelly was fatally shot by police. Since then, celebrities and world leaders have been coming forward to share their messages online.
Apart from celebrities, there are many others who have come forward and shared their grief. In the released statements, President Donald Trump stated that the FBI and law enforcement are on the scene as he is personally monitoring the situation from Japan. Apart from President Trump, former President Barack Obama has assured that we all stand together with the survivors of Sutherland Springs. In his double tweet, he called upon God to provide strength and wisdom during this hard time.
Following the deadly attack in Texas, many celebrities have taken to their individual social media handles to share their thoughts and condolences with the victims. On one hand, there are celebrities who are sharing their grief over the mass murder, while others politicized the entire incident and called for more gun control in the United States of America.
Comedian Chelsea Handler blamed Republicans for the incident, tweeting that so many innocents lost their lives on Sunday.

Writer and director Adam McKay shared his idea about having new gun safety laws.
Comedian Billy Eichner took a more sarcastic approach to share his thoughts. In his tweet, he asked about the place where the next shooting is going to be as no one is trying anything to prevent these crimes.
