Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Head To Church Twice In One Day — What’s Up With That?

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are a mystery, as the two are seen together just about daily, yet their relationship is still filed under the label of “friends.” One report indicates that Justin is waiting on Selena to give the word, as the ball is in her court on whether or not they become a couple once more. Meanwhile, both Selena and Justin are soaking up religion via church services, as the two were seen attending services twice in one day at the same church over the weekend.

According to the Daily Mail, the “rekindled lovers attended the Hillsong Church services in Los Angeles for the second time in one day.” Justin, who has been attending the church for some time now, has gotten close to the church’s famous pastor, Carl Lentz.

It seems Selena has now followed in Justin’s footsteps by becoming one of the famous flock of this church. Selena looked fashionable in black high-waisted pants and a white tube top. She was rather bland in her color scheme compared to Justin’s neon green tracksuit pants topped with a bright orange fuzzy sweatshirt.

Selena carried a Coach handbag, but in her other hand, she had a grip on her cell phone. So what is up with the two going to church twice in one day?

Selena, who is recuperating from a kidney transplant, has just become single once again after her breakup with The Weeknd. Her family, who Selena is very close to, does not see Bieber as the best choice for their daughter. The two have a long history together, which started out as your basic pair of young lovers. That was back in the day when people described them as a “cute couple,” or “teen sweethearts.”

As the two got older, Justin, went from adorable teen crooner to hanging out with a tough crowd and getting himself into trouble on a somewhat regular basis. He had a wild streak and that caused an on-again/off-again relationship for him and Selena. That wild streak included other women as well, so in the end, Selena was the one who was hurt as the relationship seemed to flip to the permanent position of off.

That is until recently, when her breakup with The Weeknd seemed to put her back in Justin’s orbit. According to the Mercury News, Selena’s family members are not thrilled with the two even being friends, nevermind finding their way back to romance. One source close to the family told TMZ, “Justin is a vile human and will never be accepted by us.”

Selena and Justin have been apart romantically, at least in the eye of the public, since she broke it off in 2016. It was Justin’s wild streak that prompted Selena to throw in the towel when it came to a future with Justin. While she was happy with The Weeknd, it was Bieber who always had the biggest piece of her heart, according to reports.

Her family not only dubbed Bieber as “vile,” they also blame him for Selena’s depression and other issues she’s suffered from mental health, according to the Daily Mail. Now that the couple seems to be gravitating toward each other once more, they are seen heading to church. While folks all over attend church services, Justin and Selena’s move to attend church twice in one day seemed to spark the interest of the media. Could it be this is a way for Bieber to mend those “vile” ways that Selena’s family allegedly believes he possesses?

While finding religion has often been credited with saving lives or taking people off the path of self-destruction, most people would have a hard time finding fault with having two dates together at church services. Could this be the start of turning over a new leaf for the rebooted relationship of Selena and Justin? Only time will tell if this does turn into a reboot or not.
