Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Wedding Not Happening: ‘Footloose’ Singer ‘Wounded’ By Miranda Lambert Split

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship continues to be the subject of rumors, particularly those that concern a wedding. People have been speculating that these music artists will finally tie the knot. However, new reports suggest that a Shelton and Stefani wedding may not be in the cards soon because the country singer still can’t get over his breakup with Miranda Lambert.

Shelton and Stefani have been together since 2015, but rumors of him and Miranda still make the rounds online. According to Life & Style, the 41-year-old The Voice judge isn’t ready to exchange vows and settle down with the former No Doubt vocalist and that’s because of Lambert.

A source for the news outlet said that Blake Shelton had hoped he would get over the pain he felt from his divorce from Lambert in July 2015, but he still hasn’t. According to the source, Shelton believes that he was betrayed by his ex-wife.

“To this day, Blake believes Miranda cheated on him. It just wounded his soul.”

His close friends reportedly continue to help him move on from the end of the relationship. Despite having Gwen beside him and their PDA-packed romance, Shelton admitted that he still feels “devastated” about his split from Lambert, a source alleged.

Gwen and Blake may appear perfect for each other, but Blake also thinks he had a wonderful life with Miranda, rumors stated. It was also reported that Blake didn’t hide the truth from Gwen about not being ready to say “I do” to her. That said, it may not be a problem for Gwen because she reportedly understands where Blake is coming from.

While Blake believes he had been cheated on, Gwen also has a problem when it comes to trusting someone too much. Her split from Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale was reportedly caused by his infidelity and Stefani is said to have realized that getting married soon isn’t necessary.

The debunking site argues that Blake Shelton has long moved on from his previous relationship. In addition, whatever plans he has for his relationship with Gwen Stefani— whether or not he’ll settle down with her — it will not be influenced by his ex.
