’90 Day Fiance’ Star Paola Mayfield Fails To Make It In Men’s Magazine Contest

Paola Mayfield, or Pao as 90 Day Fiance fans know her, is an aspiring model from Colombia. After appearing in three seasons of the reality show, the 30-year-old starlet was hoping to make it big in the industry by joining Maxim’s Finest, a modeling competition by the men’s magazine.

“I want to influence and help empower others in a positive way,” Pao stated on her profile.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Pao was invited by Maxim to join the contest as part of the International 2 group. The winner, to be chosen by fan votes, will take home a $25,000 cash prize and will be featured in a two-page spread in the magazine.

As of early October, Pao was able to get through to the semi-finals. The 90 Day Fiance alum made sure to thank her social media followers for voting for her and asked for their support for the succeeding rounds.

Unfortunately, that was the end of Pao’s stint on Maxim’s Finest. The final voting round ended on Nov. 1, and Pao did not make the cut. Olivia Burns, an American model from Florida, was named the winner.

Aside from the winner, Maxim announced that the top 10 finalists will all be featured in the sexy magazine. Sadly, Pao did not place, even though she ranked first in her category.

Pao and her Oklahoma-raised husband, Russ, often fought about her modeling and sexy photoshoots, as seen on 90 Day Fiance. In a highly talked-about episode, Russ lost it when he found out that his wife said yes to a raunchy music video gig for Reggaeton artist King Heric. In the controversial music video, Pao wore a skimpy white lingerie when Russ clearly forbid her to do so. Russ believes that swimsuits are one thing, but lingerie is strictly for the bedroom only.

Meanwhile, Paola Mayfield has not yet updated her fans regarding the outcome of her failed Maxim contest. The sexy reality star is currently busy as a health and fitness instructor. This is a new direction in her career that her Russ definitely approves of.

Winning in the Maxim contest would have certainly jump-started Pao’s career. But the Colombian native isn’t about to give up on her modeling dreams so easily. She recently guested on WPTV, a local TV station in South Florida, where she modeled clothes for a celebrity stylist.
