WWE Rumors: Top ‘WrestleMania 34’ Opponents For Kurt Angle And Triple H Revealed

With Wrestlemania 34 still months away, there are new WWE rumors regarding who Kurt Angle and Triple H will face at the big pay-per-view. The two legendary WWE superstars have each been involved in matches in the past year, with “The Game” the only one of the two competitors to participate at a recent WrestleMania. However, speculation has been raised with Kurt Angle’s return to the ring for several matches. Could the current WWE Raw General Manager and The Game each be headed for a huge match on “the grandest stage of them all” next April?

While there aren’t any matches officially set up for WWE’s WrestleMania 34, plenty of rumors and spoilers have been circulating online. Among them are the potential matches where Jinder Mahal will defend his WWE Championship against John Cena, and the long-running rumor that Roman Reigns will take on Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship. Triple H and Kurt Angle aren’t currently scheduled for anything, but it seems they could have a big match on the pay-per-view card when it takes place in New Orleans next year. The WWE Leaks website reported on the possibilities based on recent odds that were published.

Odds were recently published from Kambi for John Cena, Triple H, and Kurt Angle. On these odds, the favorites for who each of these superstars might face at WrestleMania were revealed. Cena’s top opponent was Jinder Mahal (2-5), while the Undertaker (3-1) and Kevin Owens (6-1) were next on the list. However, it’s mentioned that Cena’s odds were recently taken down due to the fact that AJ Styles is taking on Jinder Mahal for the title this coming week. That could impact who Cena takes on when WrestleMania hits.

So how about Triple H and Kurt Angle? It’s no surprise that these two competitors are each listed as the top possible opponent for one another. Rumors of a possible match involving The Game vs. Kurt Angle have been running rampant, and based on the recent involvement of Stephanie McMahon on Raw chastising Angle, could something go down involving Triple H at Survivor Series pay-per-view? Current odds for Triple H’s top opponent have Angle listed as a 17-20 favorite. Shane McMahon is second on Hunter’s list with odds of 5-4. The Rock (3-1), Daniel Bryan (6-1), and Batista (8-1) are other top favorites on the odds for Triple H.

However, Kurt Angle has co-favorites for the top choice to be his WrestleMania opponent. Triple H has odds of 17-20. However, Angle’s on-television son, Jason Jordan, is tied with those very same odds. There had been rumors of Jordan turning heel on Angle to set up a big match at some point, but would it be at WrestleMania? Other possibilities for Angle’s opponent at Mania, based on the published odds, are Shane McMahon and The Miz at 4-1, Daniel Bryan at 13-2, as well as AJ Styles and Samoa Joe each at 10-1 odds.

WrestleMania 34 takes place on Sunday, April 4, 2018, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Which opponents do you want to see Triple H and Kurt Angle face at the big pay-per-view?
