The Weeknd Never Trusted Justin Bieber, Knew He Would Take Selena Gomez From Him Pre-Split

The Weeknd apparently knew that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez would get back together before his relationship with the singer was over, it’s been alleged.

Multiple sources, including Us Weekly, report that The Weeknd felt a certain type of way about Justin’s apparent intentions because it seemed very apparent that the “Purpose” hitmaker still had feelings for his on-again, off-again girlfriend.

And while The Weeknd never doubted that Selena was head over heels in love with him, the fact that the duo has shared such a close chemistry in the past definitely made the singer understand that there was a chance he would love Gomez to her former lover.

It turned out that The Weeknd’s predictions were right after all because from what’s been gathered, Selena and Justin had been in contact before the former Disney Channel star had even called it quits with her boyfriend of 10 months.

Endless photos had been surfacing of Gomez and Bieber out and about in Los Angeles while The Weeknd was busy prepping for his world tour, so seeing the suggestive photos must have been a blow to the head for the 27-year-old.

Earlier this week, it was then said that The Weeknd had decided to call it quits with Selena, and though sources never said that her friendship with Justin was the cause of it, fans certainly feel otherwise.

Though the relationship between The Weeknd and his now ex-girlfriend didn’t work out, the two will continue to remain friends and reportedly ended their romance on good terms, from what’s been gathered.

It goes without saying, though, that The Weeknd was devastated by the split.

The duo had already become distant over the summer due to their hectic work schedules, but it didn’t seem like he saw the friendship between Justin and Selena happen so rapidly, especially with their ongoing dinner dates.

Now that Selena is no longer with The Weeknd, sources say that she has rekindled with JB and the duo is planning to give their relationship another shot, having both felt that they have matured enough to realize that they were simply made to be together.

Neither one of them has commented about their relationship as of yet.
