Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez once again rekindled romance rumors after they were spotted enjoying a bike ride together on Wednesday morning in Los Angeles. Their public rendezvous took place just days after Gomez was confirmed to have broken up with The Weeknd, whom she dated for 10 months.

Bieber and Gomez, who had an on-and-off relationship from 2011 to 2015, were all smiles as they rode around Los Angeles. They were both dressed casually, with Bieber wearing a red hoodie and Gomez wearing a grey sweater.

The bike ride is the third time the pair was spotted together since the “Fetish” singer’s split with The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye. Bieber and Gomez previously had breakfast together at a cafe in Westlake Village, California, People reported. Interestingly, a source said that the 23-year-old “Love Yourself” singer made a prior visit to Gomez’s home last week during which they spent time together as friends. Bieber was said to be very worried about the former Disney Channel star after learning about her kidney transplant in September.

In the summer of last year, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had a spat on Instagram after the “Sorry” singer went public with his relationship with Sofia Richie. Despite their differences, it is said that Bieber is happy Gomez is single again and that he hopes to regain her trust to win her back.

It was initially speculated that the former flames’ rekindled friendship led to Gomez’s breakup with The Weeknd. However, several sources clarified that Bieber is not responsible for the split.

An insider told E! News that distance played a factor in the split and that the relationship had been rocky for months. “It’s been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it’s been hard for months,” the source revealed.

Another source told People, “It’s been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn’t easy on them.” However, the exes are reportedly still in touch.

As for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s rumored romance, it is said that their relationship is a lot different now as Bieber “is certainly a much better person.”
