Will Prince Harry Inspire Girlfriend Meghan Markle To Be A ‘Rebel’ Like Mother Princess Diana?

It was earlier reported that Prince Harry was training girlfriend Meghan Markle, so that she could know the rules and regulations of the Royal life. Prince William’s brother has now openly hailed mom Princess Diana. Lady Di, who was known for being a “rebel,” had her own way of doing things.

While Princess Diana was criticized for not adhering to the Royal way of doing things all the time, Prince Harry has appreciated her style. Harry attended a summit organized by former U.S. President Barack Obama. He said in the Chicago summit that his mother deserved to be called “the people’s princess.”

According to Prince Harry, Lady Diana rewrote the Royal rulebook. She made a sincere effort to change the world for the better. She addressed big issues that nobody dared get involved with.

Harry, who was only 12 when his mom died, talked about the impact the Princess of Wales had on the world. And, her influence was “making a difference,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying. The Prince added that he had always considered Princess Diana as his role model.

“I will always look up to her as my ideal role model.”

Prince Harry’s public display of affection for his mother’s ideals comes after reports emerged, claiming that he was helping his girlfriend, Meghan Markle, learn Royal formalities. It was reported that the Suits actress had already been introduced to the Queen. News reports also claim that Harry is awaiting his grandma’s approval to move on to the next step in the relationship.

According to writer Katie Nicholl, Harry is aware how difficult it is for his Los Angeles-raised girlfriend to learn the Royal way. At the same time, he is teaching her how to address the 91-year-old Queen.

Nicholl told the New York Post that Markle would have to curtsy Harry’s granny as “Your Majesty.” She would have to call her “ma’am” thereafter.

Markle, known for being a free-spirited individual, is expected to have a massive lifestyle change if she becomes a part of the Royal family. One may wonder if she will be herself even after getting married to Harry. Now that the Prince has revealed how much he appreciates his mom’s “free-spirited” persona, he may do the same for his wife as well.
