Do Kate Middleton And Prince William Celebrate Halloween With George And Charlotte?
Kate Middleton and Prince William do not usually celebrate Halloween with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, but that might change this year. While Middleton is spending her Halloween day teaching young children how to play tennis, insiders believe the royal couple will throw a private bash for the little ones at home.
According to Good To Know, royal expert Christina Reeves believes the couple will celebrate Halloween at their house with Middleton’s mom, Carole Middleton, and younger sister, Pippa Middleton. Reeves isn’t sure about the party details but thinks it will likely be a low-key event complete with soup and pumpkin pie.
Members of the royal family, of course, do not celebrate Halloween in public. This unfortunately means that we probably won’t see any photos from the party or find out if George and Charlotte dressed up for the occasion. Middleton’s family runs a party supply company and will probably bring plenty of decorations for the event.
While George and Charlotte get ready for the festivities, People reports that Kate Middleton will be playing tennis on Tuesday. The Duchess of Cambridge is scheduled to appear at a Lawn Tennis Association engagement, where she will help teach kids ages 5 to 8 how to play the game. Middleton will also attend a few on-court matches, including a specialty wheelchair session, before meeting the country’s best youth tennis players and a team of therapists and nutritionists.
Middleton’s love for tennis goes back to her childhood. This past summer, she explained how her mom has a crush on tennis star Roger Federer and that watching Wimbledon has been a tradition ever since she was a young girl. Now, of course, Middleton can enjoy the games in the royal box with her husband.
The expecting mother isn’t the only member of the royal family with public plans for Halloween. Prince Harry has a scheduled visit to the United States for an Obama Foundation event in Chicago. Harry is also expected to meet up with Michelle Obama at the event. It isn’t clear if he and girlfriend Meghan Markle are doing anything for the holiday.
Kate Middleton or Prince William have not commented on the Halloween party rumors.
