Joy-Anna Duggar, With Help From Husband And Family, Avoids Baby Bump Questions On Birthday
Joy-Anna Duggar celebrated her 20th birthday this week. To make sure that the fans also get a chance to congratulate her, the Duggar family wrote a sweet message for their newly married daughter and uploaded pictures never see by the public. Her husband also posted a series of pictures and a heartwarming message for his wife. But one thing that the Facebook and Instagram posts had in common is that none of them revealed her baby bump nor just how far along Joy-Anna is in her pregnancy.
The 20-year-old’s pregnancy has been a shrouded in mystery, ever since Joy and Austin announced it to Counting On fans. Unlike her siblings, who either revealed the gender of the baby, its due date or how far along in the pregnancy they were, Joy-Anna gave no information about her conception or expectant child. The only thing that was obvious to her fans is her huge baby bump, which seemed too big to have been conceived after the wedding. Many of the fans commented that she looked “four maybe five months along.”
Others have also noted just how different Joy and Austin’s approach to documenting their pregnancy has been. While Jill and Jessa posted regularly on Instagram, marking exactly how far along they are in their pregnancy, Joy has not given any clear updates on social media.
“It’s completely contradictory to the way they’ve handled every single other pregnancy,” a fan commented.
Even on her birthday, her husband and family have chosen to completely forego any up-to-date pictures of Joy-Anna and her baby bump.
Her family wrote a sweet message for Joy, remarking just how much they love her.
“Happy 20th Birthday sweet, Joy-Joy!!! We can’t believe you are all grown up, married and having your own baby! You have always lived out your name, by bringing Joy to everyone you meet,” they wrote. “We love you and Austin so much and are so excited to see what God is going to do with your lives in the future. May God pour out His blessings on your lives as you continue to love and follow Jesus and make a difference in the lives of those around you! We bless the day you were born and look forward to all the beauty of life we will share with you in the future!”

On the other hand, the fans were not satisfied with these posts.
“When are you going reveal what sex the baby will be?” one fan asked. “So happy for you and always love watching the show. Just miss the whole family.”
In fact, Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth have not been posting much on their joint Instagram account ever since they announced their pregnancy. In the past two months, they have uploaded only four times, averaging twice a month, which is meager compared to her other sisters like Jinger and Jessa.
