WWE Rumors: Triple H Gives Kevin Owens Yet Another Big Surprise

The latest WWE rumors suggest that Triple H has given Kevin Owens another big surprise during his wrestling career. Last year, he helped Owens win the vacated WWE Universal Championship, which was the first major title Owens held on the main roster. Now, within the past weeks, Owens was supposed to be a part of the tour with SmackDown stars over in Chile, but ended up leaving to go home to be with family. Here are the latest details on what WWE COO Triple H did for Owens.

The latest rumors suggest that Triple H donated his Chile Live event pay to Kevin Owens, per Sportskeeda. The Game took a spot on the big match card to entertain the fans because several current roster members couldn't participate. Kevin Owens left the South American tour early so he could be with his family. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles also left the tour so he could take a spot on the WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2017 match card. It was said that the Santiago shows fetched WWE a total of $900,000 for the Live Events, but that the organizers were unhappy when top stars AJ Styles and Kevin Owens weren't on hand.

That's why Triple H stepped in to wrestle Rusev on the card and give the fans something special. "The Cerebral Assassin" picked up a win via pinfall over Rusev. Following his win, The New Day even came to the ring to celebrate the victory with him. They got Triple H doing some of their dance moves in the ring for a little while too until HHH went heel mode and hit a Pedigree on Kofi Kingston. He followed that move by waltzing up the ramp doing some shakes and dance moves as the fans seemed to eat it all up.

Whatever sort of pay that Triple H was due for the event, he is rumored to have passed on to Kevin Owens. Fans previously saw Triple H practically hand the Universal title to Owens in order to screw over Seth Rollins. This time around, if the rumors are true, he handed over a generous sum to one of the performers who gives his all in the ring for the fans. Owens seems to be back on SmackDown Live for the time being as he recently showed up to try to help Sami Zayn against Randy Orton.

As for Triple H, no one really knows when he might get involved in a televised match or pay-per-view, but he is expected to be a part of the upcoming WWE tour in the United Kingdom.
