‘Young And The Restless’ Alum Justin Hartley And Chrishell Stause Get Married
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) alum Justin Hartley married his longtime girlfriend, Chrishell Stause, in a romantic outdoor ceremony on Saturday, October 28, according to People. The couple has expressed how excited they were to finally get married and start their life together as husband and wife.
The couple met four years ago and have been inseparable ever since. In January 2014, Hartley and Stause confirmed they were dating. It wasn’t a complete shock to the fans when Justin popped the question in August of 2016. Of course, she said yes, and they began to plan their wedding.
“I love the fact that she’s going to be my wife I love the fact that I will have a wife and we’ll be husband and wife and live together. I love that, but I’m actually looking forward to the wedding day. I’m going to have friends coming in from out of town that I haven’t seen in a few years, It’s going to be great.”
The Young and the Restless alum shares a 13-year-old daughter, Isabella, with ex-wife Lindsay Hartley. They share custody and Stause reportedly has a great relationship with her.
Justin Hartley plays Kevin Pearson on the hit NBC dramedy series, This Is Us. Previous to the NBC series, he played Adam Newman on Young and the Restless. Chrishell Stause, who is also a daytime television star, played Amanda Dillon on All My Children and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. She had a small role on Young and the Restless a few years ago as Bethany Bryant.
A little over a year ago, Justin Hartley decided to leave Young and the Restless for his This Is Us role. Initially, he wanted to juggle both, but it became too much for him. While the Y&R fans are sad he decided to leave, they enjoy seeing him move on to primetime.
The couple had an elegant, intimate outdoor wedding. They invited many of their co-stars to the event. Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, and Chrissy Metz attended the ceremony to celebrate their union. Melissa Claire Egan, Justin’s former on-screen wife, also attended the event. She is extremely close to Stause, often sharing pictures on social media together.
“They don’t make them any better than Justin, and I could not be more thrilled to officially be Mrs. Hartley!”
Justin and Chrishell exchanged handwritten vows. Chrishell wore a beautiful Monique Lhuillier gown. The happy couple gushed that the wedding exceeded all their expectations and they were thrilled that so many of their friends and loved ones came to celebrate their union.
