President Trump Will Reportedly Never Be Invited Back To One Of Hollywood’s Biggest Nights

Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour recently appeared on The Late Late Show hosted by James Corden, and during a game of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts,” she revealed that President Trump would never be invited back to an event that has the biggest celebrities begging for a ticket. The fashion goddess answered Corden’s question so that she wouldn’t have to take a bite of pickled pig’s feet.

The premise of the game played on the CBS show is for participants to either answer a personal question or eat something disgusting. The second question the British host asked Wintour was if there was anyone she would never invite back to the Met Gala, and the 67-year-old answered, “Donald Trump.”

According to Page Six, the President has attended the famous gala, hosted by Wintour, several times since the 1980’s, and a few of those time First Lady Melania Trump accompanied him.

However, if Wintour was being honest and not just playing for laughs, it seems President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will never get another invitation to one of Hollywood’s biggest nights.

Wintour’s willingness to play the game surprised Corden, even though the two have developed an unlikely friendship over the years. Vulture reports that it all started in 2011 when Corden starred in the popular West End play One Man, Two Guvnors.

Six months later the show moved to New York, and the friendship started to blossom. Corden says that the two would go to lunch together once a month, they spoke often, and she is an extremely supportive friend.

Two years later, in 2014, Wintour had dinner with CBS President Les Moonves, and she convinced him that Corden would be the perfect choice to take over for Craig Ferguson on The Late Late Show. Moonves later revealed that the vast majority of people had no idea who he was talking about. The only ones who did were either British or familiar with the Broadway theater scene. Wintour, however, felt he was the return of Johnny Carson.

The fashion icon has said Corden is her favorite comedian, and he says that Wintour is his favorite magazine editor.
