‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Eric Martsolf Gives Insight Into Brady Black And His String Of Heartbreaks
Days Of Our Lives spoilers previously teased that Brady Black would suffer yet another broken heart. He certainly didn’t take the “Ericole” news very well. In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Eric Martsolf discussed his character. The actor also gave some insight into Brady and his long string of broken relationships.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers revealed that Brady would once again be heartbroken. However, his reaction to losing Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was a little different from Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) and the other women. He went into villain mode, or at least it appeared that way. So, what does Eric Martsolf think about Brady being so unlucky in romance?
The actor explained that in addition to it making for interesting daytime television, fans tend to like watching characters get their hearts broken. It’s not that they want to see them in pain, but how they rise above it afterward.
“Viewers like to see people ascend after they’ve been ripped apart, how they grovel out of the heartache and find their strength again.”
The Days Of Our Lives actor also believes that Brady doesn’t let love grow naturally like other people do. He goes in too far and too fast. He also might be mistaking other feelings for love.
“On the other hand, I think Brady doesn’t allow the seedlings of love to grow enough. He jumps the gun a little too much on his relationships, and because he wants love so bad, he tends to jump on those feelings, and what he thinks is love may just be deep affection.”
Eric Martsolf added that just like Brady Black is addicted to drugs and alcohol, he might also be addicted to romantic moments and getting engaged. Just look how many times he has nearly walked down the aisle. How he went way too far in trying to help Nicole escape with Holly. Nicole was not the first woman he has done this with. Days Of Our Lives spoilers hint that she might not be the last.
However, that probably won’t happen right away. Right now, Brady is still feeling heartbroken and shredded inside. Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that despite sending Nicole away and hurting Eric (Greg Vaughan,) Brady still feels empty inside. There is no telling what he will do about this, but fans hope he doesn’t take Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) suggestion. In the end, Brady would never forgive himself for it.
