Was Meghan Markle Harry’s ‘Ideal Girl’ Two Years Before Meeting, As Prince Had Crush On Her ‘Suits’ Character?

There is a new report that claims that before Harry met Meghan, he was asked who his “ideal girl” was. Prince Harry’s alleged response may surprise those who believed that fashion designer Misha Noono was the real matchmaker who brought Harry and the Suits actress together, before they embarked on their royal happily ever after. What do we know now?

According to the Daily Mail, a British documentary shown on Channel 4, entitled When Harry Met Meghan: A Royal Romance, was aired on Friday. Featured on the show was a royal expert who revealed that Prince Harry had a crush on Meghan Markle two years before they ever met.

According to Katie Nicholl who claims that two years ago, one of Harry’s gal pals had asked the then-single prince what women he fancied. According to the insider, she was told by this woman that Harry fancied the actress who played Rachel Zane on the American series, Suits, Meghan Markle. Again, Harry’s friend says this was two years before the couple were formally introduced in 2016.

“He had a crush on Rachel Zane two years before he met Meghan and the reason I know is because I was having drinks with one of his friends. She told me she’d been on a night out with Prince Harry. He was single at the time, so she said, ‘Harry, who’s your ideal girl?’ And he said ‘Meghan Markle from Suits.'”

Yet, the alleged story that had originally been told was that British born, New York based fashion designer, Misha Noono was allegedly responsible for bringing Meghan Markel and Prince Harry together.

But, according to the Evening Standard, the fashion designer, who is considered one of Meghan’s BFF’s has been staying mum about her involvement in uniting the couple, and “laughs” as she refuses to answer any questions.

“I really can’t answer that.”

The two friends, who call themselves “sisters,” met through their shared philanthropic ventures, dogs, and failed marriages. Misha’s knows the Prince through her ex-husband, Alexander Gilkes. The two men went to Eton, where they were best friends.

This is not Noono’s only royal connections. At her wedding to Gilkes, Harry’s first cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, attended their three-day Venice wedding, where Lana Del Ray performed “in a 16th-century castle.”

Currently, royal watchers are waiting for the official engagement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. There have been rumors that Markle will quit Suits when they finish filming in November. Many assume that once she has finished filming the series, then the couple will announce their engagement.

Royal insiders claim that “senior” royal family members have been asked to pursue their schedules in order for the couple to schedule a wedding date. There is some speculation that there will be a wedding in June. June is typically a busy month for the royal family with Royal Ascot, which lasts a full week and Trooping the Color, the Queen’s national birthday celebration.

Yet, this timeframe would be ideal for Harry’s cousin Beatrice who lives and works in New York City. As Harry is both close to both of his cousins Beatrice and Eugenie, and Eugenie is already a friend of Meghan’s, they will both certainly be attending the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
