Even though Elvis is clearly an impersonator to everyone else, the man insists that he is the real deal. As the Inquisitr previously reported, John Enos was cast for the role. Alison Sweeney explained to the publication that he shows up out of the blue. The conversation quickly turns toward Dr. Rolf (William Utay).

“He’s funny and does sort of stick to the story that he’s Elvis, but then it takes a turn and they are confronting him about Rolf.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Sami Brady ends up losing her temper, so Elvis calls law enforcement. The grieving mother believes that the police will get to the bottom of this. However, she is shocked when she ends up being the one who is arrested.

“That pushes Sami over the edge and she says something less than respectful to the police officer and gets herself arrested.”

Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) helps Sami out of her predicament. Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) ends up arriving. Lucas and Sami have some scenes about his sobriety. The alcoholic ends up becoming furious because he wasn’t included on the journey to Memphis. In his eyes, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is also his son.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that there is also an EJ DiMera (formerly James Scott) connection. However, it’s not in the way that fans think. After being released, Sami sneaks back into the house. She finds a bedroom that seems to belong to someone named EJ. However, it’s not Sami’s true love, but someone else.

“Marlena is cautioning Sami to not get ahead of herself and think that this means EJ’s really alive. But they start putting together the clues that they figured out, not the least of which is everyone remembers that E really stood for Elvis, Susan [Eileen Davidson] was a huge Elvis fan, and there’s an Elvis impersonator living there.”

John Black ends up finding women’s clothing, which leads to a flashback. The last person they all remember who was obsessed with Elvis was Susan Banks. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that suddenly, Susan comes roaring in with a shotgun.

Head writer Ron Carlivati discussed how they decided that Susan Banks would be tied to the Will Horton mystery.

“In a little chess box of pieces in Salem, we pulled out the piece of Susan, and we looked at her history, and she plays a natural role in why Will might have vanished from Salem.”
