‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Spoilers: Two Cast Members Exit, What Will This Mean For Meredith?
Grey’s Anatomy spoilers reveal that two series regulars exited the ABC primetime series. According to Entertainment Weekly, Martin Henderson, the actor who played Nathan Rigg, and Abigail Spencer, the actress who played Megan Hunt, will no longer be on the show.

Grey’s Anatomy executive producer Shonda Rhimes said that she was thrilled that they could give Riggs a happy ending. She confirmed that while Martin will no longer be on Grey’s Anatomy, it isn’t the end of her partnership with him. Shonda teased that the viewers will see him pop up on another show.
Thursday’s episode, titled “Dead Zone,” featured flashbacks to Megan, Riggs, and Owen’s (Kevin McKidd) Army days. They revealed the events that lead to Megan’s abduction and disclosed why Megan forgave Nathan so easily for cheating. Grey’s Anatomy shocked the viewers when they showed that Megan cheated on Nathan first, which helped her understand reasons why Riggs would cheat. She knew he loved her and wanted a life with her. Megan told Owen that he hated Nathan all those years for nothing because he is (and was) a great man. Deep down, Owen knew she was right.
The timing of Spencer and Henderson’s exit is strange. Grey’s Anatomy had built up a possible love triangle for Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). It brings up the question–what is next for Meredith? Will they bring a new man on the scene to take Meredith’s mind off Nathan?
At first, Meredith admitted that she was jealous of Nathan. He got a second chance at love with Megan, and she will never get that with Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey). He’s gone and will never come back. She encouraged him to make the most of it and give in to love. After some thinking, Riggs did just that and later texted Meredith to thank her for the great advice.
Another shocker from Thursday, October 26 show is Owen and Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone ) broke up. Grey’s Anatomy showed her giving back her wedding rings, and they admitted to each other that their relationship isn’t working for either of them. It was a bittersweet scene.
