Jinger Duggar Influenced By Pants-Wearing Mother-In-Law, Husband Jeremy Vuolo Bombards Facebook For Donations

Jinger Duggar has been making news by wearing pants, shorts, and heels, but it looks like there are plenty of Christian women around her who do the same thing. As a matter of fact, her mother-in-law, Diana Vuolo, has been spotted wearing pants on multiple occasions. Most recently, she appeared in a video with Jinger and Jeremy to promote her nonprofit organization, Swan4Kids, and raise money for its operations. Many Counting On fans who saw the video remarked how it will be good for Jinger to get influenced by her husband’s mother.

Instead of getting pregnant right after marriage, the 23-year-old Duggar and her 30-year-old husband have been enjoying their lives together. They have traveled to Sydney, Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia in the course of their courtship, engagement, and marriage and continue to be there for each other as they gear up for their first wedding anniversary.

To deepen their engagement with their community and family, they started a video series about Diana Vuolo’s organization, Swan4Kids, which provides music lessons for children whose parents are incarcerated. Jeremy Vuolo has posted three videos so far on his Facebook and Instagram, trying to get fans of Counting On to donate to his mother’s cause.

Diana Vuolo is very different from Jinger’s mother, Michelle Duggar. According to Swan4Kids’ website, she is the executive director of the organization and has “a Bachelor of Music Degree in Violin Performance from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts.” She has performed internationally and has founded this organization to help those around her.

On top of her professional accomplishments, she also wears pants as a proud Christian. Check out Jeremy’s mother in slacks in the picture below.

The third video that Jeremy posted on Facebook to promote Swan4Kids features Diana. Fans were mesmerized by how articulate she was and encouraged the 23-year-old Duggar to learn from her example.

“I hope Jinger learns from her well-spoken, interesting mother-in-law,” one fan commented.

Unlike Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard, who always made online fundraisers to serve their own missionary needs, Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo used their spotlight to benefit others. In fact, a source close to them told Radar Online that they are beginning to have their own “set of beliefs” that differentiates from the Duggar family rules.

“They are their own people,” an insider told Radar. “They aren’t just clones […] They aren’t attacking their family’s belief system. The family doesn’t mind at all. They are thrilled to see them push out on their own. There will always be folks that hate what they don’t understand, It’s sad, but that’s life.”

This may be because of Jeremy Vuolo’s past. Not only was he a professional soccer player in the American League, but he also has “admitted to drinking alcohol and partying while in college,” three things that no Duggar has been known to do. He even was “arrested for second-degree harassment in January 2008,” which he “pled guilty and was ordered to pay a $250 fine.”

With their first wedding anniversary coming up, the progressive Duggar couple is in love more than ever. They are still based in Laredo, Texas, where Jeremy is finishing up his ministry studies, but often make trips out to visit her family in Arkansas.

Do you think Jinger will get more influenced by Diana Vuolo than her own mother? Let us know in the comments below.
