The season finale of Counting On was all about the wedding of Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell, which took place last month, and some people are wondering why the show didn’t mention that Joy-Anna Duggar-Forsyth is expecting a baby. Because the episode ignored the pregnancy, did it confirm the shotgun wedding rumors?
Duggar-Forsyth’s pregnancy has been controversial ever since she announced she was expecting on August 30. It came just three months after she had walked down the aisle, and many speculated that she moved her wedding date from October to May because she was pregnant.
As The Hollywood Gossip reports, Duggar-Forsyth’s baby bump was huge when she revealed her baby news just twelve weeks after she got married, and fans are looking for any piece of evidence to confirm that a Duggar daughter broke the family’s premarital sex rule.
The lack of focus on the 19-year-old’s pregnancy could have just been because the previous episode had focused on her wedding and they wanted to give her brother and his new bride the attention in the finale. But, Joseph stole his sister’s thunder on her wedding day, when he proposed to Caldwell during her reception.
Since getting married, Joy-Anna Duggar-Forsyth and her husband, Austin, enjoyed a honeymoon in Geneva, Switzerland; and they also traveled to Israel for their one-month anniversary. Now, according to the International Business Times , they are building a home near her parents in Arkansas, while preparing for the arrival of their first child, which most people believe is due in February.
Neither the reality star or her husband has confirmed a due date, but they have said they are extremely excited to be parents. Duggar-Forsyth says that the couple started praying for children before they got married.
Forsyth says that he hopes their new baby turns out to be like their mother, and he is hoping that they break the Duggar baby boy trend and have a little girl. Jill and Jessa Duggar each have two boys.
As for Duggar-Forsyth, she is thinking boy, but the most important thing to her is getting to see what the baby looks like.
