Trump’s Orange $45 MAGA Pumpkin Halloween Hats Have Sold Out
Those folks who were in the market for one of President Donald Trump’s “MAGA Pumpkin” hats may have to spend their $45 elsewhere. As seen in the below photo, Lara Trump posted a photo of herself wearing the orange Make America Great Again pumpkin hat designed to look like a Jack-o-Lantern on the front. Lara used a hashtag that urged viewers to “Make Halloween Great Again” by buying the $45 hats. However, a visit to the official Donald Trump shop shows that the hats are listed as “sold out.”
Lara’s photo shows President Trump looming behind her, with his visage replicated in a painting with patriotic colors of the U.S. flag in the background. The online Trump shop urged consumers to buy their MAGA Halloween hat for trick-or-treat time before the MAGA hats sold out. Ordering the hat by October 23 would have ensured a Halloween delivery, but by October 24, the hats were listed as sold out. The embroidered Jack-o-Lantern on the front of the hat came complete with yellow eyes, a yellow nose and a yellow mouth set against the orange hat. On the back, the Make America Great Again wording was embroidered in black. Once again, gone was the “Made in China” label that once was a source of mockery for Trump’s products that went viral on social media, with “Proudly Made in USA” showing up on the product page for the hat.

Despite being made “proudly” in the U.S., the #MakeHalloweenGreatAgain hashtag is still receiving a lot of ribbing on Twitter due to the orange hats. President Donald Trump is being compared to a pumpkin, and other Twitter users are joking that the hat’s marketing means Christians can look forward to saying “Halloween” again.
Plenty of memes and funny reactions to the Halloween hat have resulted, such as those that have superimposed Trump’s face on a pumpkin. Others are calling the pitch to sell Halloween hats a greedy move by the Trump Family.

Other Twitter users are including photos of their own versions of Trump, with hand-drawn renditions appearing on actual pumpkins, as seen in the photo that appears below.
