The Shield Set For Exciting Clash With The Miz, Braun Strowman, And The Bar At TLC Following WWE Reunion

The moment all WWE fans had been waiting for finally came around on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, and in the best way possible.

The star-studded trio would gatecrash The Miz’s Miztv segment on the show to send everyone watching into raptures and finally confirm their return.

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose set tongues wagging after joining up in the locker room toward the end of Raw last Monday to simply nod at each other. And against the backdrop of Sunday’s Hell in a Cell, they ended all speculation by kicking off this week’s show.

With the Miz handing out his “Mizzy awards” to Curtis Axel, Cesaro, and Sheamus, and thanking The Bar for helping in the destruction of the Big Dog last week, Reigns came out from the back to quickly get on the receiving end of The Miz’s taunting.

The Miz, under Reigns’ cold stare, described the rumors of The Shield getting back together as “nothing but hype.” But he received the shock of his life when Ambrose walked out, followed by none other than the King Slayer, Rollins.

The freshly reunited gang marched down to the ring to kick off a melee, getting rid of Axel, Cesaro, and Sheamus, after a heavy exchange of blows, to deal with a frantic Miz on his own. Ambrose hit his rival with a Dirty Deeds, and the Hounds of Justice finished the Intercontinental champion off with their famed triple-powerbomb to officially announce their return to the WWE Universe.

Following the rumors of the reunion last week, it was predicted that The Shield would face the Miz and The Bar at the upcoming Tables, Ladders & Chairs match. And that’s exactly what General Manager Kurt Angle set up after the assault.

Miz, though, made it so that Braun Strowman was added to the match, which takes place on October 22, by asking for the monster to be added as yet another partner. And Angle agreed.

Strowman had previously demolished Matt Hardy one on one in the ring but was confronted by The Shield after leaving the ring with the star on his back. Following an intense stare down, he found himself on the end of a vicious spear from Reigns, coupled with yet another Shield bomb, but this time through a table.

Miz, pointing out to Angle that The Shield insisted that they would take on any number of opponents, got his wish, setting up what will be a hugely entertaining 4-on-3 handicap match between the reunited trio and his newly formed team.
