Update On When John Cena Will Return After Getting Pulled From ‘Survivor Series’ Advertisement

John Cena is currently on hiatus from the WWE but many fans expect him to make an appearance at Survivor Series next month. However, Cena was recently pulled from the Survivor Series advertisement and he is no longer slated to make an appearance. The latest WWE update has revealed when Cena is going to make his return.

As recapped by WWE.com, John Cena lost to Roman Reigns at No Mercy in what was described as a passing of the torch moment from one face of the WWE to the next. The WWE even teased that it was the last match of the legendary career of Cena. However, it should be noted that Cena was given time off to film two movies, Daddy’s Home 2 and the Transformers spin-off Bumblebee.

It was previously reported that Cena is advertised to appear at Survivor Series and he was slated to start a short program with Bray Wyatt. The 40-year-old superstar is still the biggest draw in the WWE and he was going to be used to increase the interest for Survivor Series. But according to Wrestling Inc, Cena was removed from the advertisement of the show and he is expected to no longer appear at Survivor Series.
