Olympian Suzy Favor Hamilton Apologizes For Being A High-Priced Vegas Escort

We reported earlier that Suzy Favor Hamilton, a three-time Olympic competitor, was working as a $600-per-hour escort in cities across America. Hamilton has seemingly confirmed her off-color career track, posting an extensive apology to Twitter shortly after she was “outed.”

Suzy Favor Hamilton is a 44-year-old mother of one, and is currently married. She was reportedly working under the alias “Kelly Lundy” as a high-priced escort, booked for “dates” in cities all over the US by Haley Heston’s Private Collection, a top Las Vegas-based escort agency.

She competed in the 1992, 1996, and 200 Olympics as a middle distance runner, starred in a Nike advertisement, posed for a swimsuit calendar, and did promotional work for Disney.

She has also worked as a motivational speaker, and runs a realty company with her husband, Mark.

The big question is whether or not her family knew about her job as an escort. Her lengthy Twitter apology seems to indicate that this was not the case. She confessed to leading “a double life” while she was going through a “very challenging time” in her marriage and life.

She explained that her actions were primarily related to depression, and that she has solicited the help of a psychologist to help her rebuild her life.

Though Suzy Favor Hamilton has earned some harsh backlash for her outing as a high-priced Vegas escort, many fans have tweeted encouraging and supportive messages. Tweeted @louisxnelson, “Suzy Favor Hamilton is being open and honest about her troubles. Imagine if Tiger or Lance Armstrong could have reacted in such a manner.”
