Katie Price Is Considering Hiring A Prostitute For Autistic 15-Year-Old Son: ‘It’s Natural To Experiment’
British TV personality and former glamour model Katie Price has revealed that she is considering the possibility of hiring a prostitute for her 15-year-old autistic son when he turns 18 so that he can experiment with sex.
The 38-year-old said she was considering getting a sex worker for her autistic son when he turns 18 because it is “natural to experiment with yourself.”
Harvey, who suffers multiple disabilities, including severe autism, partial blindness, and a rare genetic disorder called Prader-Willi syndrome, is Price’s son with former British soccer star Dwight Yorke. She has other children with her current husband, Kieran Hayler, according to the Daily Mail.
Price made the controversial comments while exchanging ideas with fellow guest author Kathy Lette on the talk show Loose Women on Wednesday, July 12.
“Harvey is 15 now. Naturally at 15 you go through puberty and it’s natural to experiment with yourself,” she said. “Is it fair for him to experience it?”
“He hasn’t got a clue about that side, but then do you bring it on? What do you do, do I leave it? Do I let him experience it?”
Kathy Lette said she had also considered hiring a sex worker for her son, Julius, who has high-function autism (HFA). She advised Price to wait and see if Harvey shows interest in sex.
“I think you wait and see if he’s angst ridden about it and if it’s an issue for him. And for Jules it really was,” Lette said.
The condition of Price’s son, Harvey, is, however, more severe than that of Lette’s son, Julius. High-function autism is a milder form of the autism. Some individuals with HFA have considerably high IQs.
According to the Daily Mail, Harvey suffers from a severe form of autism. He also suffers from septo-optic dysplasia, that causes partial blindness, and a condition called Prader-Willi syndrome, which causes delayed development and insatiable appetite, according to Us Weekly

Price observed that Harvey appeared to have no idea about sex and romance, but she admitted that the problem was complex and that she was confused about it.
She said that her husband, Kieran Hayler, was the first to broach the issue of getting a prostitute for their son on his 18th birthday.
“Kieran [Katie’s husband] joked ‘shall we get him a prostitute for his 18th birthday’ and I was like ‘well that’s my little Harvey!”
Price, who has other children with her husband, Hayler, revealed in an interview last year that Harvey had a girlfriend from his school in South London and that the two had been together for a “few years.”
“They’re so cute together,” Price said. “She bought him some aftershave and body lotion for his birthday.”
However, she said she did not think that the two had any idea about romance and sex and that it was unlikely they had ever kissed or “anything like that.”
“I don’t think they kiss or anything like that, but I think they sit next to each other at school.”

Price said that although Harvey was biologically capable of reproducing, she did not want him to ever have children because of his disability.
“Physically he could have kids but mentally he couldn’t,” she said. “It wouldn’t be fair as he can’t even fully look after himself, let alone a child or wife.”
Price, a former glamour girl, is a controversial figure who has said in the past that she does not “give a s**t what anybody says” about her mothering skills.
