Peeping Tom Used Ladder To Climb Over Demi Lovato’s Balcony And Peek In Bedroom Window, Says Report

Pop singer Demi Lovato is the latest victim in a string of burglaries among Hollywood celebrities. According to TMZ, late yesterday evening a man wearing all black was able to scale the the security gate at Demi’s Hollywood Hills home. Once the man was on the property, he used a ladder to climb onto the balcony of the singer’s home.

Luckily, his plan was thwarted when Demi’s dogs spotted the man outside the window and began to bark ferociously. The dogs’ barks alerted Demi’s live-in house manager, who reportedly saw the man looking through Lovato’s bedroom window. The manager was able to call the police and then fled the property.

When authorities arrived on the scene, the man was already gone, and nobody has been taken into custody. At the time of the attempted burglary, Lovato was not home. The singer was in Boston promoting her new song, “Sorry Not Sorry.”

People reported that the 24-year-old enlisted the help of New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski to help her make a grand piggy-back entrance into the private mansion where she held a concert for fans. Later, Demi took to social media to post about her latest in-house concert.

I kicked off my House Party Tour last night. You guys were incredible Boston! Nothing like performing in someone’s living room???????? #SNSHouseParty @kiss108

Demi has yet to publicly comment on the attempted robbery, but this marks the second time that the singer has had issues with her Hollywood Hills mansion. According to Variety, there were issues with the home in January following a landslide.

Debris from the landslide went onto Lovato’s property, and she and a few of her neighbors were forced to evacuate their properties. The giant mound of mud never crossed over onto the singer’s property, but the situation was risky enough to cause an evacuation. It was also reported that Demi had not yet moved into the home at the time of the incident.

Last September, Demi purchased her 5,546-square-feet, four-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom for a cool $8.3 million. Variety goes on to report that the home comes complete with a media lounge, wet bar, swimming pool, and outdoor kitchen. The three-story home has floor-to-ceiling windows as well as a gorgeous panoramic view of Los Angeles.
