Emilia Clarke Possibly Confirms ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Theory About Daenerys Targaryen’s Fate

Daenerys Targaryen might finally be ready to take the Iron Throne from Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones Season 7 but the Mother of Dragons might be facing a greater threat this July. Emilia Clarke has teased on the possibility that a theory about Dany will come to light in the HBO series.

Emilia Clarke has recently revealed that she will not appear in any of the Game of Thrones standalone shows that will follow once the original series is over. Although this immediately led to speculations that Daenerys will meet her end after the final season, there is still a huge possibility that she will be one of the only survivors. Nevertheless, the Mother of Dragons could be in for a major “shake-up” in Game of Thrones Season 7.

People are already expecting to see Daenerys Targaryen arrive in Westeros in the upcoming season. After all, the first two episodes, which are titled “Dragonstone” and “Stormborn,” are obvious references to the Khaleesi. However, how will the seventh season conclude for Dany? Emilia Clarke promises that many things will be confirmed and most of them could be greatly connected to the Mother of Dragons herself. Could one of the Game of Thrones Season 7 fan theories finally get confirmed?

Clarke shared that she spent plenty of time working in Belfast for the new season, suggesting that Daenerys will be heading for the North almost as soon as she sets foot on Westeros. The actress also teased that some stories could finally come full circle when the show airs this month.

“It’s a really interesting season in terms of some loose ends that have been tied, some really satisfying plot points, some things where you’re like, ‘Oh, my God. I forgot about that!'”

Emilia Clarke could be talking about Gendry’s return since there have been reports that Robert Baratheon’s only surviving son will be back in Game of Thrones Season 7. However, she could also be referring to the highly anticipated meeting between Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, who are expected to work together to defeat the White Walkers.

The possible romance between Dany and Jon isn’t the only thing fans are hoping to see from Emilia Clarke. People have also been speculating about her character in the upcoming Han Solo standalone film that is set to premiere next year. Unfortunately, Clarke couldn’t offer any details about her new role but admits that “she’s awesome.”
