‘Monday Night Raw’ Spoilers: Will Roman Reigns Get His Shot At Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title? ‘GBOF’ Fallout

After all of the action at Great Balls of Fire on Sunday night, there is so much more to come this evening on Monday Night Raw. However, there appears to be some confusion in the air. Tonight’s Raw will feature the fallout from the big pay-per-view last night, but how does someone who suffered a loss think they deserve a title shot? This is one of the big questions that will be addressed this evening as Roman Reigns looks to go after Brock Lesnar.

The official website of the WWE released its preview for tonight’s episode of Raw and the majority of things look to play off of Great Balls of Fire. No titles changed hands last night, as all champions walked out with the titles still in their possession, but a lot of blood was spilled and new grudges were formed.

Does Reigns deserve a Universal Championship Match?

In the last few weeks, Roman Reigns made sure that the world knew he was in control and even stated that he would challenge for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam. Well, that would be just fine if he hadn’t lost an Ambulance Match to Braun Strowman last night at Great Balls of Fire.

While it’s true that Reigns looked dominating after the match was over, he lost to Strowman, and that could cause his title match to be in jeopardy.

It looks to be the Summer of the Beast?

Even after being attacked by Samoa Joe before their title match started, Brock Lesnar was able to overcome the Coquina Clutch and hold onto his title. Now, he may defend against someone else, but WWE is teasing that Joe could look to stay in the picture and go after the Universal Championship again.

How will accounts be settled following Bank robbery?

Alexa Bliss came close to losing the Raw Women’s Championship a number of times at the PPV, but she managed to hold onto it by getting counted out. After it was all over, though, Sasha Banks delivered a huge message and destroyed the champ, but it didn’t win her the title.

Who will step up to challenge the Iron Men?

Once they won the Raw Tag Team Titles from the Hardy Boyz, Cesaro and Sheamus have demonstrated their brilliance and dominance as a team. Once again, they were able to retain their belts, but this time, they did it by outlasting the Hardys for a full 30 minutes.

It appears as if this feud is finally over and that the champs will look to take on another team that will step up to challenge them. On the other side of things, the Hardys may undergo some changes, as Matt keeps leaning closer and closer to being “broken.”

Rollins fails to stop the self-appointed “god”

After defeating Triple H at WrestleMania 33, Seth Rollins was on the top of his game and looked to be one of the biggest names on Raw. At the same time, Bray Wyatt appeared to be on a downward spiral since losing the WWE Championship to Randy Orton, but a win over Rollins has pushed him right back into the spotlight.

Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw will go a long way toward building up SummerSlam and what matches will be featured at one of the biggest pay-per-view events of the year. There is plenty going on, but fans essentially want to know if Roman Reigns is going to get a shot at the WWE Universal Championship currently held by Brock Lesnar. To be honest, a continuing feud with Samoa Joe wouldn’t hurt, but that remains to be seen.
