LaVar Ball Gets Reality Show On Facebook, Will Joel Embiid Join Family’s Docu-Series?

Looks like fans and haters alike of LaVar Ball will be seeing more of him and his family as they are set to get their own reality show on Facebook, it has been revealed. LaVar’s docu-series is one of the two original shows that were greenlighted recently by the social media giant.

Deadline reported early this week that Facebook is giving its go signal to a yet-to-be-titled reality series of the Ball family, along with another show starred by Mike Rowe.

Many were quick to point out that putting LaVar and the rest of his family on a reality show seems ideal as the retired basketball and football player has caught the attention of the media lately — thanks to his controversial and arrogant remarks as well as the popularity of his son, Lonzo.

It can be recalled that earlier this year, the outspoken father of three made a series of controversial and overrated comments about Lonzo, bragging that he is better than NBA superstars LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Russel Westbrook, and even the legendary Michael Jordan.

LaVar Ball probably has all the reasons to be proud of his eldest son, especially since Lonzo was recently chosen by the Los Angeles Lakers as their No. 2 overall draft pick. In fact, NBA superstar and President of Basketball Operations of the Lakers, Magic Johnson, forecasted that Lonzo would be able to help the team bring back its glorious days.

LiAngelo and LaMelo, LaVar’s younger children, are notably excellent in basketball as well and hope to reach Lonzo’s success in the future.

Meanwhile, LaVar recently dropped hints about his upcoming reality show on Facebook during an interview with FS1’s Undisputed. Ball teased the viewers that they will be witnessing his family’s lives soon, adding that he is shopping to snag a deal on his clan’s reality show.

The overconfident Ball also shared some spoilers to their future audience, adding that the upcoming reality show will feature interesting stories. LaVar also hinted that the show will give fans a glimpse of Lonzo’s career in the NBA.

With LaVar and his family’s forthcoming reality show on Facebook, many are wondering whether it will also feature some of his controversial feuds, including his ongoing dispute with Joel Embiid.

It can be recalled that on Wednesday, Embiid took to social media and bashed LaVar. The Ball patriarch did not keep his silence and fired back at the Philadelphia 76ers center.

“When you don’t win and don’t even make the playoffs and don’t even stay on the court long enough, that’s the best thing you can do is tweet, make some stuff.”

So far, the inclusion of Embiid in LaVar’s reality show is still far from reality. However, if the idea did come to fruition, the reality series of the Ball family would definitely draw a lot of attention.
