Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Secret Wedding Is Fake News

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are no strangers to wedding rumors, yet inside sources now claim that the two exchanged vows in a secret ceremony at the beginning of the year. Did The Voice stars take their relationship to the next level without anyone knowing?

Don’t believe everything you read, despite the details that have been reported.

To recap, an inside source told Hollywood Life that Shelton and Stefani thought the start of 2017 was a great time to get married. Instead of planning an extravagant ceremony, the couple tied the knot in Stefani’s Los Angeles home. The wedding was a low-key affair and only featured close friends and family.

The source revealed that Stefani didn’t want to steal the attention by inviting celebrities or wearing a lavish dress. She did, however, make sure all three boys – Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo – were on hand to witness her second marriage. The No Doubt alum reportedly wore a cream colored dress while Shelton rocked his usual casual style.

“Gwen…spoke about being so blessed to have found love again at this stage in her life. She didn’t believe in love after getting divorced, but Blake showed her a whole new world,” the source stated.

As far as the reception goes, Blake Shelton was given complete control of the party. After he and Stefani exchanged vows, guests were treated to a fried chicken feast complete with sliders, corn on the cob, grilled cheese sandwiches, and chocolate cake. While the two kept things tightly under wraps, they are reportedly planning a bigger ceremony down the road.

Of course, neither Shelton nor Stefani have confirmed the rumors. In fact, a rep for the country star told Gossip Cop that the secret wedding reports are untrue. The source claims that the entire story is made up and the two have not gotten married. They are, however, happy with how things are progressing and could tie the knot at some point down the road.

For now, the lovebirds are reportedly spending time at his Oklahoma ranch and according to Stefani’s Instagram account spending time relaxing by his pool.

Shelton and Stefani have been dating for well over a year now. Their romance began on the set of The Voice back in late 2015. They started dating months after going through respective divorces. Stefani had just called it quits with Gavin Rossdale while Shelton had ended his romance with Miranda Lambert.

While it doesn’t sound like the wedding happened, People reports that Stefani is getting ready to release a new line of dolls based on the Nick Jr. series, Kuu Kuu Harajuku. The show’s new season is scheduled to premiere on July 7.
