Fredrik Eklund Surprised By Former Co-Star Luis D. Ortiz: Luis Returning To ‘MDLNY’?
Fredrik Eklund is currently reliving everything he has been through over the past couple of months. He has been filming Million Dollar Listing: New York over the past couple of months and the new episodes are airing every Thursday night on Bravo. This season is a bit different from previous ones, as Luis D. Ortiz decided last year that he wanted to leave the show behind and focus on another passion of his. He decided to move to Paris to focus on a new start-up company.
According to a new Instagram post, Fredrik Eklund is now revealing that he was thrilled to see Luis back in New York, as he surprised his old friend a few days ago. The reunion was a complete surprise, as Fredrik was having dinner with some friends. Luis crashed the party, but it was a great surprise. His face says it all and he was very excited to see him again.
Even though these guys weren’t always friends while filming Million Dollar Listing: New York, it sounds like they have been close friends for quite some time. Maybe they became close friends after Luis decided he wanted to move to Paris to try something else. Fredrik has revealed that they have visited him in Paris.
Of course, Luis was replaced by the new agent, Steve Gold. Both Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund have asked Million Dollar Listing fans to please welcome Steve to the show, even though many missed Luis and felt that he couldn’t be replaced. Of course, the show isn’t the same with Luis, but Steve does bring a different vibe to the show.
Even though Luis left the show, it sounds like he and Fredrik Eklund have remained friends. As Fredrik explains in his post, he was completely surprised by this visit and he told one follower that they have a special bond with one another.
What do you think of Fredrik Eklund’s post about Luis? Are you surprised that they have remained friends throughout the time that Luis has lived in France? Do you think Luis should come back to the show?
