‘Diesel Brothers’ Two-Part Special Features Miguel Cabrera, Pedro Martinez, And Carlos Pena

Broadway World shared that Heavy D, Diesel Dave, Redbeard, and The Muscle have built an empire with DieselSellerz, bringing their unique brand of extreme tricked-out trucks to fans. The team is known for posting their crazy pranks and stunt driving on the internet for their fans, who can’t seem to get enough of Diesel Brothers action.

Dave Sparks (better known as Heavy D) started out by purchasing used trucks and tricking them out. Being internet savvy, Heavy D and his crew used various social media platforms as a way to share the best of their pranks and stunt driving. During the previous seasons of Diesel Brothers, the team continued to use their creative vision to fabricate some amazing builds while continuing to pull their outrageous pranks and push the envelope with new over-the-top stunts.

Now Discovery has partnered with the MLB Network in order to bring viewers closer to players than ever before with this special two-part Diesel Brothers: The Doubleheader summer event. Heavy D and Diesel Dave from the Diesel Brothers crew plan to hit a home run with an impressive new build for Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera. For the special, MLB Network analysts Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez and All-Star Carlos Pena will team up with the Diesel Brothers crew to lend a hand on the build as they trick out Cabrera’s 2016 Chevy Silverado. The MLB stars are in for a big surprise of their own when they find themselves on the receiving end of Heavy D and Diesel Dave’s stunt-driving skills.

The Hollywood Reporter shared that the Detroit Tigers will be heavily featured during the Diesel Brothers summer special. Besides Miguel Cabrera’s presence, the Diesel Brothers received special access to the team’s spring training facility located in Lakeland, Florida, as well as their home ballpark in Comerica Park in Detroit. As for his truck, Cabrera is more than ready for the Diesel Brothers crew to work their magic in order to pull off something special.

“I was excited to have the Diesel Brothers build a truck for me because my grandfather was a mechanic in Venezuela and my dad likes to watch the show,” Cabrera said. “I told Heavy D and Diesel Dave I wanted something big and powerful to auction off to raise money for my foundation.”

Motor City Bengals noted that the Miguel Cabrera Foundation provides grants to school baseball programs, community ballparks, and provides scholarships to deserving athletes. As a side note, the Diesel Brothers crew also created two UTVs (utility task vehicles) inspired by the American League and National League. They will be on display from July 7-11 at the Miami Beach Convention Center for the MLB All-Star FanFest, which is described as the world’s premiere interactive baseball theme park, and will lead up to Major League Baseball’s 88th Midsummer Classic at Marlins Park. Fans can visit AllStarGame.com and follow @AllStarGame on social media for more information about MLB All-Star Week or to purchase tickets.
