Joy-Anna Duggar ‘Enjoying Freedom’ On Honeymoon With Husband Austin Forsyth
Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, are enjoying their honeymoon! Counting On fans have been waiting to hear where the newlyweds would be heading for their post-wedding vacation and that information has finally been revealed! According to a video message posted on the Duggar family’s website, the couple has arrived in Switzerland. They will be visiting Geneva, Interlaken, and Zurmatt over the next few days, and then will likely be heading home.
The couple married on May 26, six months before the date that fans thought the two were going to tie the knot — sometime in October. The two got engaged earlier this year after a few months of courting. Fans didn’t think that the two would be able to plan a wedding so quickly — but they did. And it looks like everything turned out perfectly.
And, if you’re interested in witnessing the special occasion, TLC has some exciting news for you. The new season of Counting On will actually air some of Joy-Anna and Austin’s special day! According to the Christian Post, there will be a wedding special airing on Monday, June 12! It is believed that the entire episode will be dedicated to the couple’s big day, something that fans are so thrilled about!
“I don’t even know all of how it feels to be husband and wife — so far it’s incredible. Saying our vows and saying ‘I do’ and committing our lives to each other is so incredible. I’m so blessed to be married to him,” Joy-Anna told TLC after her nuptials.
“I’m just looking forward to getting to share my life — it’s good times and its challenges — with my best friend,” Forsyth said about Joy-Anna.
The Duggar family shared the first official photos from Joy-Anna and Austin’s big day on their blog along with a special message from Joy-Anna’s parents, Michelle and Jim Bob.
“What an absolutely wonderful day our family will always treasure. As parents, we could not be more grateful for the godly woman Joy has become, and the loving husband she married! We love you, Joy and Austin and are so happy for you both, as you embark on this exciting journey together,” the message read.
As far as what to expect from the wedding special, it will definitely fulfill all of your curiosities! You will see the couple’s wedding party — made up of family only. You’ll get to see more of Joy-Anna’s dress and a lot of the reactions from her family members. You may also see a bit of Joy-Anna’s brother’s engagement; Joseph Duggar proposed to his girlfriend, Kendra Caldwell, at the couple’s wedding after all.
So, what’s next for Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth? Probably kids!
“We love kids and we’re excited to have a family. We’re just going to see what the Lord does. We want as many as the Lord thinks we can handle and we are putting it into his hands,” the couple recently told People Magazine.
Joy-Anna’s sisters Jill and Jessa had baby news very soon after their weddings. While fans are still waiting for Jinger Duggar to announce her pregnancy (she married Jeremy Vuolo in November), there’s a chance that Joy-Anna and Austin’s baby news will come first. Joy-Anna has wanted to be a mother for a long time, and now that she is married, that dream is much closer to becoming a reality.
